Bay Area Gardens - Sour Face

Strain Name: Sour Face

Genetics

Sour Face is a potent hybrid bred by Archive Seed Bank, created by crossing Sour Diesel × Face Off OG BX1. Cultivated by Bay Area Gardens, this flower combines the unmistakable fuel and sour character of Sour Diesel with the deeper kush influence and resin production of Face Off OG. The result is a bold, expressive cultivar with classic genetics, substantial potency, and a distinctly old-school gas profile.

Aroma and Flavor

Sour Face presents an assertive aroma of diesel fuel, sour citrus, and earthy pine. Breaking apart the flower reveals additional layers of kush, subtle sweetness, and pungent fuel. On the inhale, sharp Sour Diesel character takes the lead with bright citrus and unmistakable gas, while the exhale develops into a deeper earthy kush flavor with pine and lingering diesel. The profile is rich, persistent, and particularly well suited to those who appreciate traditional fuel-forward cultivars.

Effects and Benefits

Sour Face typically begins with an uplifting cerebral effect that can enhance mood and bring a pleasant sense of mental energy. As the experience develops, the Face Off OG influence introduces a more substantial physical calm, creating a progression from bright euphoria into comfortable relaxation. This balance makes Sour Face well suited for late afternoon or evening sessions, music, conversation, and relaxed downtime. Individual effects may vary depending on tolerance, dose, and body chemistry.

Note on THC:

Keep in mind that every individual’s experience can differ. The rich terpene profile present in our products ensures that the flavor and consequently the effects can vary widely from person to person. The compounds responsible for the distinctive taste are the true drivers behind the nuanced high, proving that the sensory experience of smoking is just as significant as the potency itself.
